Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- medium carrots - 8 item
How to make glazed carrots:
Scrape carrots and cut into strips 1/4 inch thick and 1 1/2 inches long. Place strips in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dot with brown sugar and butter. Bake in a moderate oven (350°) for 1 1/2 hours. Carrots may be sliced into thin slices instead of strips, if desired.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
