German meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt
- vegetable oil - 2 3
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- fine dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- fresh parsley - 1 Tbsp
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- water optional - 1/3 1/2
- can sauerkraut undrained - 1 oz
How to make german meatballs:
In mixing bowl, combine first 10 ingredients; shape into 18 meatballs, 2 inches each. Heat oil in skillet; brown meatballs. Remove and drain. Spoon sauerkraut into skillet; top with meatballs.
