German chocolate pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- coconut
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
How to make german chocolate pie:
Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and cocoa. Add well beaten eggs, evaporated milk, melted margarine, coconut, salt and vanilla. Mix all of the ingredients well. Bake in uncooked pie shells at 300° for 45 minutes. This makes four 9-inch pies or three 9-inch deep dish pies. This also freezes well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
