Garden taco rice
Ingredients/Components
- water
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- thinly sliced zucchini
- ground beef or turkey - 1 lb
- uncooked instant rice
- shredded cheddar cheese 4 oz - 1 c
- taco seasoning mix 1 1/4 oz - 1 pkg
- Green Giant niblets frozen corn - 1 c
How to make garden taco rice:
In large skillet, brown meat and onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice and cheese. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Fluff mixture with fork and sprinkle with cheese.
