Garden pea casserole
Ingredients/Components
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can water chestnuts - 1/2 oz
- small onion, grated - 1 item
- grated sharp cheese - 1/2 c
- to 3/4 stick butter - 1/2 item
- can garden peas preferably LeSueur brand - 1 oz
- Ritz crackers nearly 1 roll
How to make garden pea casserole:
Mix together the garden peas, water chestnuts, onion and cream of mushroom soup. Put in buttered 8-inch baking dish. Spread grated cheese on top of mixture.Melt butter. Mix in enough Ritz crackers until they are moistened good (nearly 1 roll). Put cracker mixture on top of peas and cheese. Bake at 400° for approximately 15 minutes. Serves 4.
