Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 item
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 item
- oil for cooking - 2 c
How to make funnel cakes:
Beat eggs and milk together. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Whip until batter is smooth. Pour batter into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze batter back and forth and around in very hot oil. Cook 1 minute on each side or until brown. Put cake on platter and sprinkle powdered sugar or cinnamon on top. Makes 4 (6-inch) cakes.Batter is best if thick, adjust with flour.
