Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- hot water
- carrots - 1/3 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- garlic clove - 1 item
- onion - 1/2 c
- Burgundy wine - 1/4 c
- sirloin tip roast - 3 4
How to make fruited pot roast:
Brown roast in hot oil; add wine and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours on low heat. Soak dried fruit in hot water for 1 hour. Add to roast last 45 minutes of cooking time. Remove meat and make gravy with 1/2 cup water and 3 tablespoons flour.Recipe categories: Fruit, Main dish, Beef.
