  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • pecans - 2 c
  • lemon extract - 1/2 oz
  • candied cherries - 8 oz
  • sweet milk - 1/4 c
  • candied pineapple - 8 oz
  • baking powder heaping - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs beat them separate yolks and whites - 3 item

How to make fruitcake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, then dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Add lemon extract, then fold in egg whites. Cook at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
