Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 lb
- pecans - 2 c
- lemon extract - 1/2 oz
- candied cherries - 8 oz
- sweet milk - 1/4 c
- candied pineapple - 8 oz
- baking powder heaping - 1/2 tsp
- eggs beat them separate yolks and whites - 3 item
How to make fruitcake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, then dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Add lemon extract, then fold in egg whites. Cook at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Egg, Low sodium.
