Ingredients/Components
- cans mandarin oranges - 2 item
- large can chunk pineapple - 1 item
- to 4 medium bananas - 3 item
- small jar maraschino cherries, well drained - 1 item
- vanilla pie filling the kind you cook
How to make fruit salad:
Drain juice from pineapple and oranges and save. Add enough water to the juice to make 3 cups liquid. Mix liquid with pie filling and cook until it has a glazed look. Do not boil. Cool completely.Mix this with fruit. Keeps up to a week or more in the refrigerator. (Bananas will not turn brown.)
