Fruit cocktail pie
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- coconut - 1 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- 2% milk - 2 c
- drained lite fruit cocktail - 1 c
How to make fruit cocktail pie:
Combine in saucepan, cornstarch and salt. Scald milk and slowly add to saucepan. Cook slow to thicken, about 3 minutes. Add a little to slightly beaten egg yolks and pour into mixture. Cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and add margarine and stir until melted. Add 2/3 cup coconut. Add vanilla, cinnamon and fruit cocktail. Cool slightly and pour into graham cracker crust.
