- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- Topping:1 stick margarine
- can fruit cocktail, undrained - 1 item
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine1 c. sugar1/2 c. milk Cake: Mix flour and sugar in bowl. Add butter, eggs, fruit cocktail and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased oblong pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.Topping: Mix margarine, sugar and milk in pan. Slowly bring to boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add 1 cup coconut and 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and pour over cake while mixture and cake is hot.
