Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 3 Tbsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- plain flour
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- fruit blackberry, apple, strawberry, cherry, etc - 3 c
How to make fruit cobbler:
Crust: Mix well, roll thin and cut into strips. Line bottom and sides of bowl with strips and add alternately with layers of fruit filling.Filling: Bring to boil the sugar, cornstarch and water. Add 3 cups of fruit and 1 tablespoon of margarine. Bake at 300° for 45 minutes.
