  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 7 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pecans - 1 lb
  • white raisins - 1 lb
  • candied pineapple - 1 lb
  • dates - 1 lb
  • candied red cherries - 1 lb
  • Brazil nuts - 1 lb

How to make fruit cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, salt, flour, vanilla, baking powder and milk. Now add raisins, pecans, red cherries, pineapple, Brazil nuts and dates. Grease and lightly flour 3 loaf pans. Bake 2 hours at 250°.
