- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 7 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pecans - 1 lb
- white raisins - 1 lb
- candied pineapple - 1 lb
- dates - 1 lb
- candied red cherries - 1 lb
- Brazil nuts - 1 lb
How to make fruit cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, salt, flour, vanilla, baking powder and milk. Now add raisins, pecans, red cherries, pineapple, Brazil nuts and dates. Grease and lightly flour 3 loaf pans. Bake 2 hours at 250°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
