Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 5 item
- butter - 1/2 lb
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- nuts, chopped - 5 c
- white raisins - 1 lb
- candied cherries - 1 lb
- candied pineapple - 1 lb
- small bottle vanilla flavoring - 1 item
- small bottle lemon flavoring - 1 item
How to make fruit cake:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add 1 cup flour and flavoring. Mix well. Then add 1 cup flour over the fruit. Mix well. Then add batter to fruit and nuts. Put in tube pan. Shake well to make settle and then put in cold oven. Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
