  • raisins
  • pecan halves
  • dates, chopped - 1 c
  • spice cake mix - 1 item
  • jars candied mixed fruit - 2 lb
  • box fluffy white frosting mix - 1 item
  • whole candied red cherries - 1/2 c
  • whole candied green cherries - 1/2 c

How to make fruit cake:

Bake cake as directed on package and mix all the ingredients in large pan.

Fluffy White Frosting Mix: Follow package directions and mix with cake and fruit. Pack tightly into foil-lined 10-inch tube pan or long loaf pan. Cover cake with foil and chill for 24 hours before cutting.
