  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • whole walnuts - 2 c
  • whole dates - 2 c
  • whole cherries, drained or glazed cherries - 2 c

How to make fruit cake:

Preheat oven to 300°. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add nuts and dates. Beat eggs and vanilla in another bowl and add to first mixture. Add cherries. Grease and flour loaf pan. Bake 90 minutes.
