Ingredients/Components
- salt - 4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- large onion, diced large - 1 item
- small ears corn - 10 item
- medium shrimp 40 to 50 to a lb - 3 lb
- mild Hillshire sausage, cut in small pieces - 2 lb
- medium new potatoes, diced large - 2 lb
- blue crabs, cleaned and broken in half optional - 6 item
- Old Bay seasoning or 1 bag crab boil - 4 Tbsp
How to make frogmore stew:
You will also need a 6 to 8-quart stock pot and 1 large spoon with holes. Fill pot half full with water; add butter, salt, crab boil (Old Bay), sausage and onion. Bring to a boil.
