Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 2 Tbsp
- cooked rice - 2 c
- 3 oz - 1 c
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced - 1 oz
How to make fried rice:
In large skillet, cook and stir onion and pepper in oil until tender. Stir in rice, water chestnuts, mushrooms and soy sauce. Cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in beaten eggs. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes longer. Makes 4 or 5 servings (1/2 cup each).Recipe categories: Vegan, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
