Fried pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- pork chops - 6 item
- stewed tomatoes and juice - 1 c
How to make fried pork chops:
Salt and pepper each chop, allowing to set for 10 minutes. Beat eggs and milk. Dip each chop in milk mixture and roll in bread crumbs. Brown slowly in hot grease, turning only one time. Remove from pan.Pour off grease, except 2 tablespoons, to which you will need to add flour, stirring until lightly brown. Then add water, green pepper, onion and tomatoes mashed with juice. Return chops to pan. Cover and simmer about 35 minutes. Serves 6.
