- bacon grease - 1 item
- fresh okra - 1 item
How to make fried okra:
Use tender, young pods. Slice about 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch thick. Use 2 parts cornmeal and 1 part flour to bread okra. Put in bag; add sliced okra and shake until coated.
