- margarine or butter - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make fried green tomatoes:
Prepare tomato slices. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dip tomato slices into flour mixture. Heat margarine in 10-inch skillet until melted. Add tomato slices; cook, turning once, until golden brown.
