How to make fried cornmeal mush:
Pour cooked cornmeal mush into two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2-inch loaf dishes. Chill until set, or overnight. Cut into 1/2-inch slices. Lightly grease griddle or skillet and preheat over medium-high heat. Fry mush slices 4 to 5 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Serve hot with eggs and tomato juice or butter and syrup.
