Fresh vegetable marinade
Ingredients/Components
- stalks fresh broccoli - 4 item
- large fresh mushrooms, sliced - 8 item
- medium-size green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
- small head cauliflower, broken into flowerets - 1 item
- sugar - 1 c
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil
- small onion, grated - 1 item
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
How to make fresh vegetable marinade:
Remove flowerets from broccoli; cut into bite-size pieces. Reserve stalks for other use. Combine flowerets, mushrooms, pepper, celery and cauliflower; toss lightly. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well and pour over vegetables. Chill at least 3 hours. Yields 10 to 12 servings.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Condiments, etc., Marinades and rubs.
