  • water
  • sugar - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • white corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • strawberry jello - 3 Tbsp
  • drops red food coloring - 1 item
  • berries - 1 qt
  • prepared Dream Whip
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • 10x sugar - 1 c

How to make fresh strawberry dessert:

Fresh Strawberry Mixture:1 c. water1 c. sugar pinch of salt2 Tbsp. white corn syrup3 Tbsp. cornstarch3 Tbsp. strawberry jello drops red food coloring1 qt. berries Top Layer:1 pkg. prepared Dream Whip1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 c. 10x sugar Crust: Make crust; press into a 13 x 9-inch oblong pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool. Make Fresh Strawberry Mixture.

Fresh Strawberry Mixture: Cook the water, sugar, salt, corn syrup and cornstarch until thick, then add the jello and red food coloring. Cool mixture, then add the berries.

Top Layer: Mix the ingredients; put over top. Refrigerate.
