Ingredients/Components
- olive or vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- green onions, sliced - 3 item
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- large tomatoes, chopped - 4 item
- salt, optional - 1 tsp
- cider or red wine vinegar - 1/3 c
- minced fresh cilantro or parsley - 2 Tbsp
- each chopped green chilies - 6 chilies,
- to 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced - 1/2 item
How to make fresh salsa:
In a bowl, combine chilies, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeno and garlic. In another bowl, combine vinegar, oil, pepper and salt if desired; stir into vegetable mixture. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. This has 2 grams carbohydrate.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Salsas.
