Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- vanilla flavoring - 3 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- corn oil - 3/4 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- well beaten eggs - 2 item
- fruit juice apricot nectar, pineapple or orange juice - 1/3 c
- chopped pears or apples - 3 c
How to make fresh pear cake:
Mix ingredients in the usual manner. This recipe makes 2 loaf cakes (9 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 3-inch) or 1 Bundt cake. Pan(s) should be well-greased. Pam spray works best. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
