Fresh peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3/4 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- sliced fresh peaches - 2 c
How to make fresh peach cobbler:
Melt butter in a 2 quart baking dish. Combine 1 cup of sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and stir until mixed. Pour batter over butter in baking dish, but do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining 1 cup sugar; spoon over the batter. Do not stir. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Cobblers and crisps.
