- flour - 2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- white Karo syrup - 3/4 c
- whole eggs - 3 item
- Wesson oil - 1 c
- Frosting:2 egg whites
How to make fresh coconut cake:
Frosting:2 egg whites1/4 tsp. salt1/4 c. sugar3/4 c. white Karo syrup1 1/3 tsp. vanilla Add salt to egg whites. Beat until it foams. Add sugar; beat until glossy, then add syrup and beat until it spreads good. Grate coconut and sweeten to taste. Spread coconut on top of frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Coconut.
