Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • plain flour
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped apples - 2 c
  • Wesson oil - 1 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Cream sugar, oil and eggs; beat. Sift flour, salt, soda, baking powder and spices; add to creamed mixture (will be quite stiff). Add apples and nuts. Mix by hand. Bake in rectangular pan at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
