Chess squares

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• pkg - 1 oz
• egg - 1 item
• nuts - 1/2 c
• stick butter - 1 item
• box confectioners sugar - 1 item
• yellow cake mix with pudding - 1 item

How to make chess squares:

Mix cake mix and softened butter. Press into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with nuts. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let it cool, then cut into squares.
