Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- oil
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 tsp
- chopped apples - 4 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
Glaze:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/2 tsp. margarine Preheat oven to 350°. Mix eggs, oil and sugar. Blend well. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together. Add to egg mixture. Add apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour batter into greased tube or Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour. Remove from oven. Make glaze.In saucepan combine sugar, milk and margarine. Cook 2 1/2 minutes. While cake is still hot, pour glaze over cake in pan. Cool cake completely before removing from pan.
