Caramel apple coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/8 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- oil
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- margarine
- peeled apples, chopped - 3 c
How to make caramel apple coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. margarine1/8 c. milk1/2 c. packed brown sugar Beat eggs until foamy; gradually add sugar. Blend in oil and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to egg mixture. Stir in apples and pecans. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove to serving platter.For Topping: Combine ingredients in pan. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly pour over cake (some will run onto serving platter).
