Fresh apple cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• milk - 1/4 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• coconut - 1 c
• oil
• soda - 1 tsp
• stick butter - 1 item
• plain flour - 3 c
• chopped apples - 2 c
• Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture

How to make fresh apple cake:

Combine oil and sugar. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Add eggs, alternating, beating after each. Add vanilla, chopped nuts, apples and coconut. Put into greased pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a 350° oven. Cool in pan.Topping:1 c. sugar1/4 c. milk1 stick butter Cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over cake in pan while both are hot. Let cool in pan. Use angel food cake pan instead of tube pan.
