Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- coconut - 3/4 c
- buttermilk - 1/4 c
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
How to make french coconut pie:
Cream sugar and margarine; stir in buttermilk and eggs. Add coconut and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 10 minutes at 375°. Lower oven to 300° and bake 35 to 45 minutes or until brown on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
