  • milk - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • catsup - 2 Tbsp
  • relish - 2 Tbsp
  • frankfurters - 6 item
  • Bisquick baking mix - 1 c
  • strips Cheddar or American cheese slices - 6 item

How to make frankfurters in a loaf:

Heat oven to 400°. Grease loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches. Split frankfurters lengthwise, not cutting completely through. Fill each with a strip of cheese, about 1 teaspoon relish and/or catsup. Mix remaining ingredients with a fork; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Spread in pan. Arrange frankfurters crosswise in pan, pressing into dough slightly. Bake until dough is light brown (about 20 minutes).

To serve, cut bread between frankfurters. Makes 3 or 4 servings.
