  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • lard

How to make foolproof pie crust:

Mix flour and lard with pastry blender. Add sugar, salt, egg and water. Mix well. Yields 5 shells.

Note: Can add 1 teaspoon vinegar to egg and water mixture. Guarantees nice crust.
