- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- brown sugar
- water - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 3/4 tsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- raisins - 1 c
- light brown sugar - 2 c
How to make filled cookies:
Filling:1 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. flour1 c. water1 c. raisins1 c. coconut Dough: Mix thoroughly and chill overnight for best results. Divide dough; roll less than 1/4-inch. Place half of rolled dough in greased pan, 10 x 15. Spread filling over dough, then top with second half of dough. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 325°.Filling: Combine and cook. Make filling just before dough is rolled out and let filling cook until ready to spread. Spread while still warm.
