cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 2 item
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour - 4 c
brown sugar - 1 c
water - 1/2 c
soda - 1 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
chopped nuts optional - 1/4 c
raisins - 1 c
cloves - 1/4 tsp
white sugar - 1 c
cold coffee - 1 c
shortening soft - 1 c

How to make coffee drop cookies:

Stew raisins with water and let get cold. Cream sugars and shortening; add eggs and beat. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and spices. Add about 1/2 cup flour mixture and beat, then coffee. Add raisins before last 1/4 of flour. Mix thoroughly. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° to 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 62 to 65 cookies.
