  • sour cream - 1 item
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • salad oil
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
  • garlic salt - 1 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • wine vinegar - 1/2 c
  • ground pepper - 1 Tbsp
  • to 8 flour tortillas - 6 item
  • grated Cheddar or Longhorn cheese
  • trimmed skirt steak or boneless chicken breasts
  • Grilled Onions - 1 item
  • Pico de Gallo or 1 medium diced tomato
  • Combine marinade ingredients

How to make fajitas:

Marinade:1 c. salad oil1/2 c. wine vinegar1/4 c. lemon juice1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce1 Tbsp. ground pepper1 Tbsp. garlic salt Toppings:1 c. grated Cheddar or Longhorn cheese Grilled Onions Pico de Gallo or 1 medium diced tomato sour cream6 to 8 flour tortillas The day before, tenderize the skirt steak by beating the meat vigorously on both sides with a meat hammer. Combine marinade ingredients. Cover meat with marinade and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Turn the meat three or four times during the marinating process. Grill meat over an open flame to desired doneness, then, cutting across the grain of the meat, slice into half-inch wide strips. Serve with cold beer and your favorite tortilla chips.Grilled Onions:2 medium onions3 Tbsp. oil3 Tbsp. soy sauce1/2 tsp. garlic salt1/4 tsp. ground pepper Break onions into individual rings. Combine with remaining ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until onions become limp, the only limp thing about fajitas.
