Chimichangas
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- shredded lettuce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 3/4
- chopped green onions - 1 item
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- flour tortillas - 8 item
- chopped radishes - 1 item
- can chopped green chilies, drained - 1 oz
- Topping: taco sauce
How to make chimichangas:
Topping: taco sauce chopped green onions chopped radishes sour cream In skillet, brown beef, onion and garlic; stir often to break it up. Drain. Stir in soup, chilies, vinegar, seasoning and cumin. Reduce heat. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly.Spoon 1/4 cup filling down center of one tortilla. Top with 2 tablespoons cheese. Fold in sides of tortillas. Roll up around filling. Secure with a toothpick. Assemble 2 to 3 at a time.
In skillet, heat 1 inch oil. Fry chimichangas 2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Remove and drain on paper towel. Garnish with lettuce and toppings.
