  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • small box instant vanilla pudding - 1 item
  • stick softened margarine - 3/4 item
  • bottle red food coloring - 1 oz
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:1 8 oz

How to make easy red velvet cake:

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 325° in layer cake pans for 45 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened3/4 stick softened margarine1 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla Beat ingredients together and spread on cooled cake layers. Top with pecans.
