Easy caramel fudge
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/8 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- sugar, divided - 3 c
- Milnot milk - 1 c
How to make easy caramel fudge:
In heavy saucepan, heat 1 cup sugar until it is liquid and light brown. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, then stir in the remaining sugar and Milnot. Cook over low heat until soft boil stage. Then add soda. Stir vigorously. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Cool to lukewarm. Beat until candy loses its gloss and is thick. Add nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan, buttered. Makes 2 pounds.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Fudge.
