Ingredients/Components
- coconut
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- stick butter or margarine, melted - 1 item
- chopped nuts pecans
- box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients to make cake - 1 item
How to make earthquake cake:
Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread coconut and then the nuts on the bottom of the pan.Mix cake as per the directions on the box. Pour batter on top of the coconut and nuts. Do not mix.
Mix the cream cheese and melted margarine. Mix in the powdered sugar. Drop by tablespoons on top of the cake. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
