  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • box chocolate cake mix - 1 1/2

How to make surprise cupcakes:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour or line with paper baking cups (30 muffin cups); fill 2/3 full.

Combine cream cheese, sugar, egg, salt and vanilla; beat well. Stir in chocolate chips.

Spoon one heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture on each cupcake. Bake 20 minutes; do not frost. Makes 30 cupcakes.

Ready to go right from the oven.
