Dutch apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- chopped apples, peeled - 5 6
- sugar - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 tsp
- water - 2 tsp
- Mix other ingredients
- salt - 1 tsp
- soft butter Crisco - 1/2 c
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- Roll out
- soft margarine - 1/3 c
How to make dutch apple pie:
Peel apples and chop chunky. Mix other ingredients. Sprinkle over apples until coated. Pour into pie crust.Pie Crust:1/2 c. flour2 tsp. sugar1 tsp. salt1/2 c. soft butter Crisco4 Tbsp. milk Mix together and shape into ball. Roll out. Put on pie pan. Put apple mixture onto the pie crust. Top with Crumb Topping.Crumb Topping:1/2 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar1/3 c. soft margarine Crumble over the apple pie.
