Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 qt
- black pepper - 1 item
- broth - 1 pt
- flour to make stiff dough - 1 item
- pork broth from cooked pork or chicken broth - 1/2 c
How to make dumplings:
Mix 1/2 cup pork or chicken broth with flour to make stiff dough. Roll out real thin. Cut into strips. Have about 1 pint of broth plus 1 quart water all boiling together. Drop strips of dough into boiling pot. Do not stir. Drop all strips into pot. Turn down low and cook for about 15 minutes.
