  • pecans - 1 item
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • large can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item

How to make dump cake:

Drain pineapple; sprinkle pineapple on bottom of an oblong cake pan. Spread pie filling over the top of pineapple. Cover pie filling with dry cake mix. Cut butter into small squares; lay on top of dry cake mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of butter and cake mix. Cook at least 45 minutes in a preheated 250° oven, or until done.
