Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 1 c
How to make double chocolate cake:
Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Remove from mixer and stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour into 2 greased and floured layer pans or one 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes for layers, 35 to 40 minutes for the 13 x 9-inch pan or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
