- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- powdered sugar
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round or 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
How to make deep dark chocolate cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour two 9-inch round or 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. In large bowl, stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, powder, soda and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water and pour into pan(s). Bake 30 to 35 minutes for round pans, 35 to 40 minutes for 13 x 9 x 2-inch.One-Bowl Buttercream Frosting:6 Tbsp. margarine/butter, softened2 2/3 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. cocoa1/3 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla Beat butter; add sugar and cocoa alternately with milk.
