Double chocolate almond biscotti
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- cocoa powder - 1/3 c
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- blanched almonds, chopped - 1 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 2/3 c
How to make double chocolate almond biscotti:
Beat butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Stir in almonds and chocolate chips. Shape dough into 2 logs (1 1/2 x 15-inches). Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes; cool. Cut into 1/2-inch slices. Put on baking sheet, cut side down.
